Class of 2014
Voice Part: Soprano
Hometown: Holmdel, NJ
Nikhita is a seemingly normal senior from Holmdel, NJ - but don't be fooled. She loves being a part of the Katzenjammers and is pretty much obsessed with music. Her hobbies include singing (duh), musical theater, stargazing, and drinking chai tea lattes at Starbucks. She hopes to take part in many shows in her time at Princeton and is loving being a Katzenjammer!
Voice Part: Bass
Hometown: Boston, MA
Tadesh first sang as a KJ between 4 and 5 am on September 24th under Blair Arch. He was asleep at the time, but it will certainly go down in his history books as a life-changing freshman year moment. He loves the Katzenjammers because he loves jazzy music, funky bass parts, sweet harmonies, and awesome people. When Tadesh isn't singing with the KJs, he's usually humming the bass part to Stoned Soul Picnic while acting, or just being busy.
Voice Part: Alto
Hometown: Santa Monica, CA (a.k.a. Minsk, Belarus)
Major: Art History
Dina is a proud alum of Santa Monica (public) High School, in Santa Monica, California (the only real part of the state — sorry Teddy!). Besides singing with the KJs, Dina sings with the Princeton University Glee Club and Chamber Choir and can't live without it (well, maybe without Glee…) and works at the Mendel Music Library. Basically, she lives in Woolworth, all the while never having taken a class in the music department — sad story bro. When she's not singing, she's reprimanding people for all of their wrong-doings, giving dirty looks, watching Real Housewives (shout out to the Beverly Hills ladies!), and practicing her SoCal lingo. Peace.
Class of 2016
Voice Part: Tenor
Hometown: Greenwich, CT
Marquito was saved by the KJs from a stream of consciousness dream in which he got hit by a car, unwittingly rented his dorm in Blair to sketchy grad students, and was forced to wear suits from Macy's. Thus, he is forever indebted to them for giving him a Ticket to Ride the hell out of his frightening subconscious. He really does have ridiculous dreams. Ask him sometime; he loves to tell them. Outside of the KJs, Marquito participates in both Princeton Triangle Club and Princeton Glee Club, and indulges himself in unhealthy servings of optimism for the NY Mets.
