Auditions We hold auditions twice a year (at the beginning of each semester), and we accept members regardless of gender or voice part. We're super excited to be holding auditions again this year! Our audition dates are September 15-17, please sign up using the link above! |
Open House Please stop by our open house! This is a great way to get to know us, check out our repertoire, hear us sing, have some refreshments, and learn more about what it means to be a KJ. September 14th 4-6pm, Bloomberg 063!

What to Expect in an Audition:
Your audition will be about 10-15 minutes long, and we promise not to bite! Here are the pieces of the audition:
No experience is necessary to audition (we've accepted members with years of experience and others with none)!
Your audition will be about 10-15 minutes long, and we promise not to bite! Here are the pieces of the audition:
- Scales and some easy warm-ups - don't stress, our music director will lead you through these
- Pitch matching - our music director will play a few notes on the piano and you'll sing them back
- A brief group blending and dynamics exercise we'll sing with you
- A solo song of your choice! This can be from any genre, from classical to pop to jazz to musical theater. Try to keep your piece to about 30-60 seconds - about the length of a verse and a chorus - and you will sing a capella (without accompaniment).

This organization is open to all Princeton University students interested in supporting our organization's mission, regardless of identity, such as race, sex, ethnicity, national origin, or other projected characteristics.
